Priority Produce, 1,535 Mangoes, invoiced 16 Dec 2025, AUD 17,606.00 (1037928)
not placedWhere it stands
- Where the goods are: no shipment in flight (no booking, departure or arrival held)
- What the customer has been told: nothing yet
- Receivable: invoice 1037928 AUD 17,606.00 still due, 283 days overdue; the reminder not chased: answered "Ask Steve to bill his cartage first and offset"
- What happens next: On hold: 2 questions only James McNamara or Quenton Carter can answer are open on this trade. It is on the desk regardless; the questions are under "What is waiting, and on whom".. It is being finished by hand, off the desk; nothing is sent on it from here. The folder still needs a purchase order, a commercial invoice and a packing list.
Where this trade really stands
Priority Produce owes AUD 17,606.00 on invoice 1037928 for 1,535 R2E2 mango trays Steve collected from our Vision stock on 4–5 Dec 2025; due 30 Dec 2025, unpaid, and by James's ruling it waits on Steve's cartage bills for offset.
What is blocking it: James ruled on 2 Oct ("Ask Steve to bill his cartage first and offset"), so nothing is asked of Priority Produce for now beyond the bills. The cartage and tossing bills have not arrived, and Steve has not replied to James's 15 Feb request for the return on the Dorrian mangoes and a statement of account. Vision has not found the outwards dockets that tie the pallets to lots.
Sources that disagree
- Whether this is a firm sale or a consignment is not settled by the papers; only Steve can say how Priority Produce treats the 1,535 trays.

No instalment is recorded on this invoice, so the whole invoice is due before release.

This trade cannot show a purchase order, a commercial invoice and a packing list to anybody who asks for them. That is not a stage it has failed to reach: it is a paper it cannot produce. Owner: James McNamara.
Every document on this trade, each time it was issued, what it prints and who holds it, is on the timeline below under documents. This section answers only whether the trade can show its papers, which is a different question from when each one was made.
0 files sit in this trade's folder, of which 0 files are typed as a document and 0 files could not be typed from what they print.

Freight
The freight
The estimate
Cost so far held in more than one currency; not held: international freight, produce, produce, produce, produce.
Not in this estimate: DAFF inspection fees and any other DAFF charge billed to Carter and Associates direct are not in this estimate, and no DAFF permit or tonnage is priced in it either.
The card this estimate was struck from is not named on it.
No shipment is recorded on this trade.
Freight cost not known: no forwarder bill is linked to this trade in our copy of Xero, and none is in its folder. The rate card is a list rate and is a quoting figure, never a cost. Liam Fraser can supply the invoice. Owner: James McNamara.
No departure or arrival date, carrier, vessel or weight is recorded on this shipment yet: each is read off the forwarder's own document, and prints as a gap until then.

All eleven steps
The eleven stages
A stage is not a column anybody writes. It is a projection over the evidence, rebuilt from it every time, so nothing here was asserted by a code path that happened to run. Where a trade sits is the highest of the first seven; what it owes is the last four, and a trade can be invoiced and on the water at once. No consignment stage on this trade is evidenced at all.
| stage | state, and what the evidence says | evidence |
|---|---|---|
| QUOTE needs our word |
not reached no priced offer is carried on this trade yet. The 710 quotes priced since 1 May 2026 are deliberately not seeded: 313 of those quotes carry no freight figure at all and the fan-out multiplies a foreign price by the exchange rate twice, so loading them would put figures on the record that nobody can acquit. That decision is recorded here rather than left silent. |

This table answers which of the eleven are evidenced and which are not. WHEN each one moved, and on what, is on the timeline below under changes. A date there is the date the EVIDENCE carries, which is not always the date the thing happened: a container that arrived on Monday and was reported on Thursday is dated Thursday.

What has happened, in one order
Everything the record holds on this trade — what was said, what was produced, what moved, what was paid, what was pressed and what was asked — on one line each, newest first, in Sydney time. It is one list and not seven, because a trader asking what happened on Tuesday should not have to read seven.

What was the Priority Produce correction in the 9 Sep 2026 AR list you approved on 16 Sep, and does it touch invoice 1037928?
Answered from the records. Raised by the agents' review, run.
Answered 24 Sep 2026 07:12 AEST: The 9 Sep 2026 correction was not a void, credit or adjustment to 1037928's own AUD 17,606.00 figure — it was fixing Priority Produce's contact email (statements had only ever gone to Carter's own administration@ address) and netting the unbilled tossing/cartage Priority Produce has done since Feb 2025 against the combined AUD 18,446.00 (1037833 + 1037928). James's 16 Sep reply ('Investigate the void advice. Everything else is correct') approved this, since it is not a void item. Has a statement or demand ever gone to Priority Produce themselves, as opposed to our own addresses?
Answered from the records. Raised by the agents' review, run.
Answered 24 Sep 2026 07:12 AEST: No. The Xero contact for Priority Produce is administration@carterandassoc.com.au — Carter's own address — confirming the 9 Sep 2026 exports-desk finding that every statement to date has gone only to C&A's own address, never to steve@priorityproduce.com.au. The 16 Apr 2026 Xero overdue reminder likewise went only to Carter & Associates addresses. Priority Produce owes AUD 18,446.00 (the trade AUD 840.00; the trade AUD 17,606.00). Chase it in full, or net it against the tossing and cartage they have done for us unbilled since February 2025? Is the trade a firm sale or a consignment awaiting Steve's return? (1037833, 1037928)
Amount in question: AUD 18,446.00 (Xero invoices 1037833 and 1037928). The same question stands on 1037833. The review asked: "Is the AUD 17,606.00 on 1037928 a firm sale, or a consignment awaiting Steve's return on the 4 pallets of Dorrian mangoes?". Raised by the agents' review, run.

What takes it forward
TRADE OPENED is reached by pressing one of its own acts, and INVOICED is reached by pressing one of its own acts. A press before its evidence exists comes back asking for the evidence; it is never an error and never drops what was typed.
Move it on
It is at ORDER. The estate moves a card itself when the evidence lands; moving it by hand asks what shows it, and the trade's own messages and documents are the taps.
Only stages ahead of this one. A card that has gone forward wrongly is put right with “correct a fact”, which writes the old value, the new one, who and when; walking a trade backwards through the stages would leave the record saying it happened twice.
