Failures fixed
Every failure you were told of, what caused it and what now stops it. A row closes only when the fix is proven by a check that runs on every release and has been seen working on the live desk. 0 of 10 closed.

- What happened
- MK Fruits' 192 trays of strawberries to Kuala Lumpur (1038339): Vision confirmed the booking at 16:01 (MH216 from Perth at 02:10 Friday, air waybill 232-53488735, 192 trays and 960 kg received). The desk sent the buyer two emails without the documents (16:51 and 16:57) and never sent the commercial invoice and packing list; James sent them by hand at 17:27.
- Why
- Nothing turned Vision's booking email into a recorded booking and the papers; the separate booking and receipt updates went to the buyer on their own, and the desk's attempts to send the documents were stopped.
- What stops it now
- In one pass after a forwarder's booking email the desk records the booking and air waybill, reads the packed trays and weight from it, takes the buyer's payment term from their last trade, issues the commercial invoice and packing list, and sends them to the forwarder and the buyer with both principals copied; no booking or receipt email goes before the documents on an air load.

- What happened
- MK Fruits' flying load (1038339) was cancelled twice, at 15:49 and 16:28, on Stefan's 11:31 words "This order ETA 18/Oct to MK is cancelled", which cancelled only the Sunday 18 October load (1038340).
- Why
- The cancellation reader matched Stefan's words to the flying load because the 18 October order's messages had been put on 1038339, and nothing stopped a cancel on a trade already booked with an air waybill.
- What stops it now
- A cancellation is matched to the load it names, and the desk can never cancel a trade with a booking or an air waybill: it asks a principal instead; a principal's own cancel goes with a warning.

- What happened
- The desk's own sends of 1038339's documents at 16:58 and 17:07 were stopped by a check on what the booking said, although Stefan (13:02) and Angela at Vision (16:38) had asked for the documents.
- Why
- The booking-truth check treated the documents email like any status message to the forwarder and held it, although the forwarder and the buyer had asked for exactly those papers.
- What stops it now
- A documents send on a booked trade is never held by the status or booking checks, only warned; it is stopped only if nothing is attached or the accountants are copied, which were the real faults of the 16:58 attempt.

- What happened
- Angela at Vision asked in the "C&A / Vision new group!" WhatsApp group at 16:38 "Can you pls send commercial docs asap" for 1038339; nobody answered there until 18:29.
- Why
- Nothing in the desk answered a question asked in a WhatsApp group; it only ever replied by email.
- What stops it now
- When the desk sends documents someone asked for in a WhatsApp group, it answers in that same group on the same pass, once: "Documents for 1038339 sent to you by email at 16:39 Sydney time."

- What happened
- MK Fruits' 18 October load (1038340) was cancelled and replaced by Century Global's order (1038341), and Stefan asked at 15:34 to move its departure to 16 October for arrival in Singapore on 17 October; Vision was not told on the same pass.
- Why
- The forwarder's cancel notice was never revisited once a replacement order appeared, and no code read a customer's revised departure or arrival date.
- What stops it now
- On the same pass, the forwarder's update is drafted for a principal's approval: the cancel together with what replaces it, and any revised departure or arrival in words (Friday 16 October from Perth, Saturday 17 October into Singapore), once.

- What happened
- Emails about matters already settled: at 12:42 Favco was asked for a count-wise packing list for Anusaya's container (1038293) after James had ruled "they just need to pay"; at 16:33 Boon Kee was chased for a permit (1038328) that Pearly had sent at 15:21 on the same thread; at 16:16 Chislett's email carried the desk's own reasoning ("It replaces nothing and nothing replaces it").
- Why
- The desk could email a supplier a question about goods the customer already held, chase a permit already sent on the same thread, and send a withdrawal carrying its own reasoning.
- What stops it now
- Each of these is held for a principal: a spec or count question to a supplier after the customer holds the goods, a chase for a paper the other side already sent on the thread or in their group, and any words that carry the desk's own reasoning or withdraw an instruction.

- What happened
- MK Fruits' two loads (1038339 flying Friday and 1038340 for Sunday 18 October), each 192 trays from Grower Connect, were read as one order more than once during the day.
- Why
- When the 18 October load was cancelled, the order reader fell back to the trade first opened from that email thread, which was 1038339, and moved its date to 18 October.
- What stops it now
- An order whose own trade is cancelled stays with that trade; nothing of it is linked to, or changes, the other load, and two orders from one buyer always stay two trades.

- What happened
- Quenton's avocado quote was lost when a release restarted the desk while he worked, and releases restarted the desk without telling the principals first.
- Why
- The quote form was held only in the browser until its last press, and a release could start without the WhatsApp notice or leave a "down" notice with no "back" after it.
- What stops it now
- Every answer on the quote form is kept on the record as it is typed and restored after a restart; a release refuses to start without the notice, runs one at a time, and always sends "Desk is back" after "restarting".

- What happened
- At 14:12 the desk emailed Quenton an operator note about Al Bakrawe's cancelled mandarins (1038329) instead of putting it on the desk's list for both principals.
- Why
- The operator answered Quenton's email by email, as if he were outside the company.
- What stops it now
- A note or question for a principal never goes by email: it goes on the desk's list for both principals.

- What happened
- At 18:42 James could not answer the first card on Decisions, Grower Connect's bill INV-45622 for Eastern Green's strawberries (1038332): it said "Recommended: Yes, do as recommended", then three options with no recommendation and no price history.
- Why
- The card listed the choices instead of recommending one, and never read the supplier's price messages.
- What stops it now
- Every supplier price card quotes the supplier's dated price messages from WhatsApp and email and any principal statement on the bill, and leads with one recommended answer for the week the goods were packed, with its arithmetic and AUD total and the alternative's total; one press records it.
