MK Fruits Store, 192 trays Strawberries to KUL, AUD 9,312.00 (1038340)
3 TRADE OPENEDCFR is a sea term (Incoterms 2020 keep CFR, CIF, FOB and FAS to sea and inland waterway) and this goes by air: the term for the same deal by air is CPT. Closed by the record read (rrd_1c3e59e7-72e1-4d7d-934a-357211961594): a duplicate of another item. Same CFR versus CPT question raised per trade..
A question for James: the customer's dates disagree. Which date is the load on?
- Stefan Zayn (ZaynCo), 13 Oct 2026 12:29 AEDT, by email: “As discussed, please arrange this shipment for ETD 14/Oct for ETA KUL on same day.” (leaves Wed 14 Oct 2026)
- Stefan Zayn (ZaynCo), 14 Oct 2026 17:01 AEDT, on WhatsApp: “Shipment is flying or has flown today, right?” (leaves Wed 14 Oct 2026)
- Stefan Zayn (ZaynCo), 15 Oct 2026 11:31 AEDT, by email: “This order ETA 18/Oct to MK is cancelled.” (arrives Sun 18 Oct 2026)
The trade holds no date.
The desk changes no date on its own.
Where it stands
- Where the goods are: booked with the carrier, not yet departed, since 15 Oct 2026 08:33 AEDT
- What the customer has been told: told the freight was booked, 13 Oct 2026 10:35 AEDT (our post in their WhatsApp group)
- Receivable: nothing yet; no invoice is raised
- What happens next: The folder still needs a purchase order, a commercial invoice and a packing list.
Customer acceptance: none is on the record for this trade.

Where this trade really stands
MK Fruits' 192 trays of strawberries, sold at AUD 48.50 a tray, are not booked: the 14 Oct flight was pulled as too ripe, and Sunday 18 Oct on MH126 still needs the customer's word and a grower delivery date.
What is blocking it: The grower delivered only one load to JAS Perth on 14 Oct and we told Stefan and Haziq that evening that the flight was off, with no Kuala Lumpur booking. Vision (Angela Thompson, 15 Oct) offers MH126 on 18 Oct and asks whether we want Sunday or first available, and when the stock will be delivered. Quenton told Vision on 15 Oct he has asked the customer, so no booking can be confirmed until the customer answers and the grower gives a delivery date.
Sources that disagree
- Whether the customer has accepted Sunday 18 Oct is not on the record; only Stefan can settle it.
15 Oct, Gmail, exports@: We told Vision MH126 on 18 Oct is the flight we are working to.
15 Oct, Gmail, exports@: Quenton told Vision he has asked the customer and will advise when he has the answer. - Our own email carries the wrong number; correct it with Vision before the booking is made.
15 Oct, Gmail, exports@: Our email to Vision gave the order number as 1038339.
15 Oct, desk record: This trade is numbered 1038340. - The correction went to the group only; the email thread still carries the earlier statement.
14 Oct, Gmail, exports@: Our email to Stefan and Haziq said the 192 trays fly today, 14 Oct.
14 Oct, WhatsApp CARTERS & DOC / ZAYNCO: Our WhatsApp correction said the strawberries are not flying and no booking is in place.
| Date | What the record says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 10 Oct | Stefan Zayn (ZaynCo) placed the order for 1 AKE, 192 cartons of strawberries, at AUD 48.50 CNF, ETA KUL 13 Oct, maturity 50%+, berries firm. | Gmail, exports@ |
| 13 Oct | Stefan asked for ETD 14 Oct with ETA Kuala Lumpur the same day, all else unchanged. | Gmail, exports@ |
| 14 Oct | Vision (Angela Thompson) said JAS Perth had not received the load and Vision had no booking to Malaysia; she asked for order details and the grower's delivery date. | Gmail, exports@ |
| 14 Oct | We told Stefan and Haziq the strawberries were not flying that day and no booking was in place; we then added "we had to pull. Too ripe due to heat". | WhatsApp CARTERS & DOC / ZAYNCO |
| 15 Oct | Grower Connect (Michael O'Brien) sent a photo: "the greenest fruit i have today . Fruit is hard". Our reply was "Ok 192 please". | WhatsApp trades |
| 15 Oct | Vision offered MH126 on 18 Oct, departing Perth and arriving Kuala Lumpur the same day, and asked whether we want Sunday or first available, and when stock will be delivered. We replied that MH126 on 18 Oct is the flight we are working to and that we will confirm the booking and delivery date before Vision's Friday cut. | Gmail, exports@ |
| 15 Oct | Quenton wrote to Vision that he has requested the answer from the customer and will come back when he has it. | Gmail, exports@ |
| 15 Oct | James set the sell price at AUD 48.50 a tray; the buy price is still blank and no flight is chosen. | desk record |
Not known: Whether Stefan and MK Fruits have confirmed Sunday 18 Oct as the flight. Whether MK Fruits accepts the hard, green fruit against its 50%+ maturity specification. Grower Connect's delivery date to JAS Perth and JAS Perth's cut-off for MH126. Whether Vision has confirmed a booking or an air waybill number. The buy price, and the certified dispatch weights.
Risk: Cover not on the record. The weekend booking cut-off is Fri 16 Oct, and the same buyer's invoice 1038335 (AUD 9,202, due 11 Oct) is still unpaid.
Also: Correct our order number with Vision, James, Thu 15 Oct
Draft, not sent. To bneexport@vision.com.au: Correction to our earlier email: our order number for MK Fruits' 192 trays of strawberries is 1038340, not 1038339.
Also: Enter the buy price on the order, James, Thu 15 Oct
Next: Settle Sunday flight and Grower Connect delivery date, Quenton, Thu 15 Oct
Read on 15 Oct from the invoices, payments, documents and messages held.

The ledger
Nothing in the ledger is linked to this trade. A ledger document with no link is a gap owned by Obsidian Advisory, not a guess.
Invoiced not stated, and the ledger carries nothing outstanding against it. Billed to us not stated, and the ledger carries nothing outstanding against it.
Every receipt in, every payment out and every claim is on the timeline below under payments and claims, each with its date, its counterparty and its currency. What is above is the position; what is below is how it got there.

Changes in Xero
Nothing is made in Xero until James or Quenton chooses to make it, and each one made goes to Obsidian as a draft note.

What this trade made
GP not stated on the cost stack, current (an estimate on the rate sheet, not struck on a bill): the international freight and the produce (no buy price is on the record) are not priced yet, so a gross profit would be most of the sell; it is stated once they are on the stack.
No result has been struck for this trade yet. 11 cost lines are held against its cost stack so far. The desk strikes one itself once every cost is billed; nobody needs to do anything for it.
Documents
The documents
The three a trade must be able to show
| document | is it in the folder |
|---|---|
| purchase order | nothing in this folder is named as one |
| commercial invoice | nothing in this folder is named as one |
| packing list | nothing in this folder is named as one |
This trade cannot show a purchase order, a commercial invoice and a packing list to anybody who asks for them. That is not a stage it has failed to reach: it is a paper it cannot produce. Owner: James McNamara.
Every document on this trade, each time it was issued, what it prints and who holds it, is on the timeline below under documents. This section answers only whether the trade can show its papers, which is a different question from when each one was made.
0 files sit in this trade's folder, of which 0 files are typed as a document and 0 files could not be typed from what they print.
Dates
Its calendar
No dated event on this trade at all. No departure, no arrival, no due date and nothing owed by a date. A trade with no date on it is a trade nothing can chase.
A cut-off is not on this record: there is no column for one on the shipment or the trade, so none can appear here however many are in the forwarder's mail.
What is waiting
What is waiting, and on whom
1 thing is missing, behind 1 open item: the same missing fact is filed once for each document it stops, so the rows below are the facts and the counts are the consequences. An age is how long the ITEM has been on the record, not how long the thing it describes has been true.
| what is missing | what it stops | who settles it |
|---|---|---|
| order move | The supply was confirmed for 15 Oct (15 Oct 07:05); the trade now wants 15 Oct, the first available from that day | Desk open 2 hours no by-when set |

The rate sheet this estimate was struck from is not named on it.
No shipment is recorded on this trade.
Freight cost not known: no forwarder bill is linked to this trade in our copy of Xero, and none is in its folder. The rate card is a list rate and is a quoting figure, never a cost. Liam Fraser can supply the invoice. Owner: James McNamara.
No departure or arrival date, carrier, vessel or weight is recorded on this shipment yet: each is read off the forwarder's own document, and prints as a gap until then.

What takes it forward
BOOKED is reached through one of its own buttons below, and INVOICED is reached through one of its own buttons below. A button used before its evidence is held asks for the evidence, and nothing typed is lost.
Move it on
It is at TRADE OPENED. The estate moves a card itself when the evidence lands; moving it by hand asks what shows it, and the trade's own messages and documents are the taps.
Only stages ahead of this one. A card that has gone forward wrongly is put right with “correct a fact”, which writes the old value, the new one, who and when; walking a trade backwards through the stages would leave the record saying it happened twice.
At any stage
Change, claim or end this trade
Raise a claim: against the customer, the grower or the forwarder, with the amount. Record a credit note: the amount and why; it produces the paper and sends nothing. Each asks one thing at a time, and an amendment or a cancellation says what it touches and waits for your confirm before anything changes.
