Where this trade really stands

Eastern Green's 192 trays of strawberries (1038338) landed in Singapore on SQ216 on 15 Oct and the customer holds the final papers; the only open item is Vision's terminal-certified weight, chased on 16 Oct and not yet answered.

What is blocking it: Nothing blocks the customer: Jenny's 14 Oct request for documents was met by the final commercial invoice and packing list on 14 Oct, and arrival was told on 15 Oct. The final packing list still carries declared pack weights, and Vision has not yet sent the JAS Perth terminal weights asked for on 14 Oct and again on 16 Oct.

What is waiting

What is waiting, and on whom

Eastern Green Marketing: 1038336 and 1038338 dispatch docket and certified weight (1038336, 1038338)

The decision: Ask Grower Connect for the 1038336 docket and chase Vision for the certified weight? A claim puts the relationship and money at stake, so a principal answers it.

We recommend: Ask Grower Connect for the docket, since its AUD 12,672 bill differs from the AUD 13,824 order; drop the Vision chase, as Vision said the AWB weight is the terminal weight.

  • 12 Oct 2026: Vision said the AWB weight is the weight for each order, and we accepted it as the JAS weight. (Gmail 1a12f6c3369e8962 (exports@))
  • 14 Oct 2026: 384 trays on SQ216 arrived Singapore; final invoice and packing list were sent 13 Oct. (Gmail 1a13755d20f0ac65 (quenton@))
  • 15 Oct 2026: 192 trays on AWB 618-57650670 arrived Singapore 06:06 and the invoice and packing list went on 14 Oct. (Gmail 1a13c80109354932 (quenton@))

At DEPARTED

What is owed while a trade sits here: the final invoice and packing list regenerated on the transport document and the certified weights, the forwarder holding them, the customer holding the final invoice and the pre-alert, and every original the destination requires dispatched with its courier and tracking number recorded. Overdue here when: an original is recorded as having to travel with no courier record.

What takes it forward

ARRIVED is reached through one of its own buttons below, and INVOICED is reached through one of its own buttons below. A button used before its evidence is held asks for the evidence, and nothing typed is lost.

Move it on

It is at DEPARTED. The estate moves a card itself when the evidence lands; moving it by hand asks what shows it, and the trade's own messages and documents are the taps.

Only stages ahead of this one. A card that has gone forward wrongly is put right with “correct a fact”, which writes the old value, the new one, who and when; walking a trade backwards through the stages would leave the record saying it happened twice.

At any stage

Change, claim or end this trade

Amend the trade: the quantity, a price, the product, the booking, the customer or the grower, with what it touches said before you confirm. Cancel the trade: the reason, and the unwinding still to do said before you confirm. Raise a claim: against the customer, the grower or the forwarder, with the amount. Record a credit note: the amount and why; it produces the paper and sends nothing. Each asks one thing at a time, and an amendment or a cancellation says what it touches and waits for your confirm before anything changes.
